Pacman Frog (C. cranwelli)
Cranwell's horned frog, also called the Chacoan horned frog, is a terrestrial frog endemic to the dry Gran Chaco region of Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil. In most cases, an adult female pacman frog will reach ~4" from snout to vent. A large frog by most standards! The males are smaller and will top out at around 3". The lifespan is ~15 years in captivity with good care and feeding.
C. cranwelli has been a hobby staple for many years, and with selective breeding there are many color morphs available. Green, brown, albino, patternless, strawberry/pineapple, apricot, lip stick, 4-spot, mint green, 3-stripe, 2-faced, 4-eyed, strawberry, leopard, mosaic, and more!
Neat frogs with BIG appetites!
