D. tinctorius 'Matecho' is fairly new to the US hobby. Very similar in appearance to the 'Regina' morph, the 'Matecho' is even bigger and more stunning! The 'Matecho' is arguably king of all the tinctorius morphs in the hobby. A spectacular large bodied frog with an almost solid yellow body and usually a black spot on the back. Typically ground dwellers, tinctorius species will enjoy a horizontal tank with plenty of floor space to explore. Regarded as a bold frog. Best kept in pairs
