Dendrobates auratus 'Super Blue'
This morph of D. auratus originates from Panama. We maintain multiple breeding groups of 'Super Blue' auratus and the offspring include a mix of blue/bronze and turquois/bronze - both are fantastic. It should be noted that the froglets morph with blue/black or turquois/black markings and the black coloration slowly changes to bronze as the frogs age. On occassion, a solid black froglet is also produced. D. auratus also makes an excellent starter frog. D. auratus has gotten a reputation for being shy in the vivarium; however, in our experience they can be very bold frogs if given plenty of hiding locations.
