Oophaga pumilio 'Escudo de Veraguas' - Pair #1
One of the smallest forms of O. pumilio, the Escudo de Veraguas morphs are amazing little frogs. Escudo de Veraguas have only been imported from Panama twice in the last 4 or 5 years, and this may be the last time farm raised Escudo de Veraguas come into the US. Because of the limited numbers of Escudo de Veraguas in the US, they are still rather difficult to find, especially in sexed pairs. D. pumilio are very territorial, and will do best in pairs. D. pumilio are very bold with one of the loudest calls. If you have not seen Escudo de Veraguas in person before, we warned - they are amazingly beautiful and just as amazing tiny!
